People v. Christine H. Represented one defendant from a family of seven co-defendants in the largest, longest and most expensive real estate fraud prosecution in San Bernardino county history. Case dismissed after ten years of litigation.
People v. Shauna K. Represented a 22 year old woman from Kansas accused of running over and killing victim on an Orange County freeway while driving under the influence of alcohol.. Vehicular homicide case dismissed after a two year battle.
People v. Brian K. Represented defendant in a third strike “life” case in Los Angeles Superior Court. Defendant acquitted after jury trial.
People v. Nicholas R. Represented a young man in a “life” case accused of raping and kidnapping two very attractive young women visiting from Sweden. Client acquitted of the “life” count and released on probation after jury trial.
People v. Michelle S. Represented a laboratory technician charged with medical fraud by the California Attorney General in Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties. Case dismissed in Los Angeles; plea arrangement reached in San Bernardino where client received probation and served no actual time in custody.
People v. Anh D. Represented a 19 year old woman after being arrested for murder in Orange County. No charges ever resulted by the District Attorney. Thereafter represented same client in San Jose, CA negotiating immunity deal in federal court involving the Federal Bureau of Investigations and the United States Attorney. The defendant charged in this case received the death penalty. Mr. Anthony’s client, who had significant culpability and exposure, escaped prosecution entirely in multiple jurisdictions.
People v. Peggy B. Represented one of two co-defendants in the largest major complex securities fraud prosecutions in Orange County history. Over 100 elderly victims alleged with over $100,000,000 in restitution sought by the Orange County District Attorney. Case still pending. Numerous conditional examinations conducted on elderly victims.
People v. Eric F. Represented a wealthy foreign national in a major drug possession case, with over 500 pounds of narcotics seized. Probationary sentence negotiated for “credit time served” sentence. Probation thereafter terminated early. Client’s foreign passport retrieved from the federal government and returned so client could continue traveling abroad.
People v. Mohammad B. Represented a father accused of physically abusing his young son. Client acquitted after jury trial.
People v. Paul S. Represented a high school teacher in this vehicular homicide after he killed a pedestrian in a crosswalk. Successfully negotiated probationary sentence with no actual jail time imposed (home confinement).
People v. Terry S. Currently representing defendant in a murder case after he allegedly stabbed his wife to death. Case pending in the Orange County Superior Court.
People v. Chris C. Currently representing client in a “life” case alleging attempt murder for the benefit of a criminal street gang in Anaheim. I am currently working with an expert witness that I located, developed and secured from out of state.
People v. Pedro G. Represented a business owner and family man being accused of felony assault with a deadly weapon. Felony charges dismissed. No jail time ever imposed.
People v. Scott K. Represented defendant in a felony fraud case involving the CA Department of Motor Vehicles. Co-defendant sentenced to prison; client had case reduced to a misdemeanor with no jail sentence ever imposed and then later case dismissed, in its entirety.
Karel T. v. Alistair I. Civil case where I represented an aggrieved plaintiff against a civil defendant, who was the son of a high ranking government official from another country. International press covered the case. Civil judgment obtained; client awarded over $1,200,000.
People v. Bradley S. Represented defendant in a felony DUI case involving an assault with his motor vehicle. Victim sustained major injuries. Case dismissed.
People v. Aisea T. Represented defendant in a third strike case where Orange County District Attorney sought life sentence. Authored and argued a motion to strike priors from out of state jurisdiction. Motion granted and strike priors stricken. Client avoided life sentence.
Investigation of John S. Represented client during a federal investigation where the United States Attorney and the Department of Labor threatened indictment for various violations of law. No indictment ever issued.
Investigation of Kim S. Currently representing a woman in a federal investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigations and United States Attorney involving a real estate fraud matter.
People v. Justin M. Defended defended client accused of hate crime, stemming from a road rage incident. Felony strike and hate crime allegations dismissed.
